LST Central team members visited London with the Laidlaw Foundation

Last week, Megan Byrne, Abbie Wright and Emily Miller represented the Marketing, Finance and People and Culture Teams by joining the Foundation for a couple of inspirational days leading into International Women’s Day. Also in attendance were Laidlaw Scholars from Trinity College Dublin, trailblazers from London and Said Business Schools and the University of Oxford Women in Business Scholars.

First up was a LinkedIn and #IAmRemarkable workshop at LinkedIn HQ - a highlight was “learning how best to create an inclusive workspace where we support others on their self-promotion journey, even if it doesn’t come naturally at first.”

A delicious dinner, a couple of cocktails and a whirlwind tour of London later, they were onto day two - the Equall Women in Business Conference at the London Business School.

Some words that resonated are:
