Excelsior Academy, based on the ‘schools within schools’ model, consists of five schools, each with its own Principal, leadership, and dedicated staff. As the only 3-19 inclusive school in Newcastle, Excelsior serves the West End of the city, welcoming a diverse range of learners, with a special focus on supporting EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
