Keeley Wood

Keeley began teaching in 1988 in Havelock Primary School and then Quarry View Junior school; both schools in the Pennywell area of Sunderland. In that time, she became Head of English and then Head of Curriculum, eventually being appointed as Deputy Head. In 2009, the primary school amalgamated with Pennywell secondary school where Keeley was appointed as Head of Primary in the new all-through academy.

In 2017, Keeley was appointed as Executive Principal at Thomas Walling and Westgate Hill and, more recently, South Hylton and Atkinson Road. Her current role is to work alongside the Heads of School in all the LST primaries.
